Chrome plate my tank emblems?

Default Chrome plate my tank emblems?
I havent seen my bike in like 2 months. But aren't the tank emblems on a SG black chrome? I am one for small changes. I was thinking about having my emblems chrome plated? Not sure what it would cost or where to get it done. Would there be a noticable change?

Have an 08 black sg. got me thinking, mines up for storage too, but I'm pretty sure there already chrome.

I thought they where a smoked/black chrome? I figured if they were chrome they might stand out alittle more. Just a thought.

Mine are stuck on the wall in the garage and I just looked, they're smoked chrome. Mine's an '08.

They are smoke chrome plated.

No after-plating either - They're plastic from what I recall.

They are vacuum plated smoke chrome. Since they are plastic, you would have to get them vacuum plated again (regular chroming will melt them). Good luck finding a vacuum plater who can do this...let us know what you find.
