Default Anyone tried Mustang's Sport Touring Seat?

Thinking of purchasing the sport touring seat for my SG. Seems like Mustang gets great reviews for comfort and the sport touring seat doesn't look as bulky to me as the full size Mustang.... Although the Mustang website is very lacking in the Photo department..

I called them Friday and they are sending me a solo with rider backrest to try. If you order directly from them, they give you 10 days to try it. They were much more helpful on the phone than the website was. I spoke to a Paul there. Should get my seat this Friday.

We went with Mustang shortly after buying the SG because the stock seat was not comfortale for the wife.

The service direct from the factory was excellent and like mentioned above they will allow you to return it if you don't like it and they also covered the shipping for me. I ordered and had it two days later.

The quality is excellent and after about 4K miles we have no complaints. The wife liked it better than I did at first but now if I put my solo seat on I'm ready to change back to the Mustang.

Give them a try you have nothing to lose.

I wish the rear section was just a BIT wider. I think that would be THE seat for me and the wife it it was. If the rear section on the sport touring was 13" wide like their solo/pillion combo, I would be all over that seat.

Thumbs up

I've got a Mustang Solo w/Backrest. It's not what your looking for but I can tell you it's damn comfortable and the quality is fantastic. The chrome is excellent, and the seat has gotten more comfy every time I ride it.

I just posted the exact same seat you are looking for in the for sale section. I paid $370 for it and just didnt like the look. It is very comfortable and great for the passenger as well. Will sell for $325 fedexed shipped.

Look at pictures.... Only installed for pictures.....

If you're gonna buy one of these (or any Mustang seat) new, your best deal will be Ronnie Lewis at Lewis Custom Cycles. I shopped everywhere.
