Did you install the load equalizer or are you wondering if you need it?

Sounds like he has one. Either it is a bad unit (would be surprised) or you have a wire crossed, touching something somewhere.
Did you install the unit behind the factory connectors like in the instructions? (that's how it was on my nightster)

If you are running the Kury Panacea Tail Light and Turn Signals, I was told by a Kury service Tech that you must use the Kury Equalizer. I have a call into Badlands (should know answer by Monday) to see if they know this to be true. The Badlands III seems to be a superior L.E. - doesn't get hot and lets you run your flashers.

Its an 07 SG. I got it from Milwaukee Baggers along with fender and saddle bags. It is a plug n play unit. I just checked the wiring and all is correct. The lights are led strips frenced in on each side of fender. Like I said it works fine when one either side is unplugged. Then when I slip in the one that was unhooked, its like i have my flashers on. I tried turning flashers off but they stay on. No other equlizer is on bike.

Double check your wiring especially if you have security system and make sure it is wired into the body harness before any modules. Send Dan an email at Badlands and tell him your problem he's great dan@badlandsmotorcycleproducts.com

I remember Kury saying something about having to add a diode kit or one signal will back feed into the others, thus giving you a hazzard flash effect when you are simply trying to use the left or right signal.

Hope that helps.

BTW - load eq's just add the same load to the bike as the stock bulbs do thus the bike thinks all is ok. If you want to reduce the load on the bike, go with an led relay/flasher and all will be fine. (If you don;t mind a hyper flash on the turn signals, you can just replace bulbs and go from there.)
