DynaMatting n Dynorbing meh Arc mini install
Here is some pics of what I have done so far...
Dynamatting is stuck on but the Orb stuff is just sitting in I what I think is the right place for them (more or less).. prob recheck again if they will be directly behind my Arc speakers. Think I did enough matting?.. prob overkill anyways....
I put meh ground on the frame where the engine guard is bolted on.. shrug should work.. I dremled a nice spot clean of paint.
And here is one of the positive cable running down the backbone.. under the plastic wire gide that sits there. Man, taking off an 09 touring bike tank is simple.. hehe

Heh, that is so true. I did solder a few leads last night on my HD garage door opener, didn't shrink wrap em but did use 3m electrical tape in a neat fashion. Yeah, trying to stuff two wires into them crimps was a f'n ugly time consuming problem, so I took the one off and just stripped and soldered em in-line.
Just put the Arc speakers in and about to mount the amp..then i'll see about what I can solder up for a good clean install.
That one crimp on the power lead was how it came.... looks secure, might electrical tape it up a bit.

Took same size squares of paper taped to the dynamat to position the dynaOrb stuff, checked it a few times with the fairing against the speakerless inner fairing. Got em glued now..hope super glue will hold em..for the long run, dunno if I trust that stuff.
Super glue came with it.. so I guess it will be ok with a Harley's vibration?

Amp is in and on, pic below. Iron Man was on the radio, fitting song to find any distortion... uh had the f'er up to max and no distortion. Of course the gain on left n right were min.. I turned em up a bit... getting good response ... pushing 100Dbs a bit loud.... So any pointers on tuning this amp? I have a sound meter..
Of course the fairing isn't on yet, but I held it up and no rattles..(a good thing) but the fairing does vibrate.. just no vibration sound.. (heh)
So any pointers.. what to do.. I don't need max volume... (it's very loud)
