Can you show me where the grounding post is on the neck or describe it more I have looked for it. Either it is so obvious I can't see it or I really can't find it.

3M makes yellow, blue, and red butt splice connectors and ring connectors that has an adhesive heat shrink that is waterproof and looks and lasts longer than electrical tape. Wally world has them in the automotive section. Works great for every electrical connection outside.

Don't like but splicers, or any of them things.. they are too bulky, and unless you need the ones for quick disconnecting stuff then I'll never use them. Soldering is way better. Besides you couldn't pay me enough to shop at wall-fn-mart. Local auto store is just fine or the downgraded raidoshacks..(not what they used to be..sigh). Or even an audio store for car stereos or the like.

I soldered just about every connection and tightly wrapped each one with electrical tape, I am sure they will be fine. Even put some tubing surrounds on a few of em. A little dielectric light coating too on certain connections.

Still trying to figure out how to tune this amp properly... just don't want to keep taking the fairing off to readjust it. Sounds great now, guess I'll just keep it where it is.

Im thinking if I were in a car dynamat would work. But since Im riding outside...
Hence the speaker baffles.
If my head were inside the fairing, and I wanted to deaden road noise, I'd go with the dynamat.

Yeah, I noticed the speaker baffles on Firecap's instructions, they did not show the outer fairing. Good way to go if you didn't buy the Orb package or such.

Pretty close quarters in there with the outer fairing back on, dynaOrbs are sitting right behind the speakers as it is now about an inch or two away. The mat stuff is sound deadening stuff all up and around that area behind the Orbs, guess i could of done with out the mat stuff its pretty heavy.

Lots of vibration of the fairing area with the arc mini amp turned up all the way. No rattle noise or vibration noise tho.... guess I am good. Then again it might of helped with it.
