Default Getting a new bike

I am trading in my sportster and getting a touring bike. I am torn between the RK and EGS. I know if I could afford a SG I would get that, but I think it is out of the question. I like the looks of the RK, but love the EGS for long trips. Any ideas?

The batwing makes a huge difference for long distance cruising, especially in cold weather. But you can also get a batwing-style removable fairing for the RK, which gives you both options, since for around-town riding you like the RK looks more

Hey, they're all going cost you $20 Grand when your done, get the one you want. Do a search here. I like the RK but ended up wanting a radio, so that pushed me to a fairing. I liked the Standard with the radio and cruise options over the Street and the Classic. It was perfectly in between for me, looks, fit and comfort. Price wasn't a big diff. either way.
Take into consideration if you will have a rider on the back, and how much you ride. Take your time, sit on them, ride them. It's fun shopping for a new bike!

Get the one you want. That sounds like a Street Glide. cost more to keep trading bikes than getting it right the first time.

Thanks everyone. I did get the Street Glide. I road it from Chattanooga to Nashville in sub 40 degree weather. The bike road great and looks better. I have to get used to the ridding since I went from a sport bike to a sporty and and now a touring bike. I am going to post some pics soon.

Congrats! Get the pics up, we're curious to see what a Street Glide looks like... Jus' Kiddin, they are second best lookin' HD touring bikes, hands down...

P.S. You'll love the touring bike. What a difference from the Sporty...
