You can get the after market bat fairing, dead center, hoppe, etc. it's detachable can come with a stereo. Most of the guys that have love them. Mine is from corbin and you get total wind in the face. I should have done better research on the damm thing. You can also get a taller windshield for your mounting brackets. Thanks for replies. Still a little confused as what to do - there was a suggestion on another site to cut about 2 inches from screen but I have tried raising my butt to simulate to no avail. Another thread on this touring site spoke in glowing terms about the effectiveness of the Chrome lowers - so effective that as the temp increased people tended to remove . Obviously cutting down the screen I have is the cheapest option rather than ordering a screen that may or may not work - handbrake has the cheque book - so will try to resolve in another manner if possible.
