Any quiet 2 in 1 exhaust out there?
I don't mean supper quiet, but something close to my V&H Ovals. I'm about to shell out for a new SG and I like the looks of the 2 in 1. Yet, I don't want it to loud so I can ride 500 miles without my ears ringing for the next week. I like the level of my V&Hs.
Thanks

I really dislike noisy bikes..my FVD came with Big Radius, so they had to go. Plus, I wanted black, not chrome.
First I got the D&D Fatcats with the quiet baffle. Performance was way better (since the BR had none), but still way too loud for me.
Last week I got a Supertrapp muffler. I got the Universal one, since Supertrapp doesn't sell the supermeg muffler separately in black. This way I get the D&D 2-1 header.
I rally like the sound and the looks (although both are pretty subjective). Plus, the sound can be modulated with the diffuser caps if desired.
It runs fine, probably a bit rich. I haven't retuned it yet, the bike came with the V&H feulpac which isn't really tunable (you have to et settings from V&H). I plan to do a 103 kit and will get a SERT or similar then.
If I were starting from scratch, I would probably get the Supertrapp Supermeg complete system. Its the only "quiet" system I could find.

Wanted a 2-1 with some sound but defintely not too loud. The fat cat with the quiet baffle was way too loud for me. went to the Supertrapp supermeg and it works for me. The sound is also tunable (more disks for more sound and leaner, and fewer disks and richer with less sound). Much quieter than the fat cat.

I also like more low end and I'm learning the 2 in 1s are good for that.
