97% with my wife. The other 3% I ride with my friends due to she has other things going on.

Fairing, suspension, bags/trunk...yada yada Stuff for touring.

Last time I checked Softails, Dyna's, Sportsters and even V-Rods have a passenger seat stock.
Sheesh....wake up on the wrong side of the bed? Just a conversation starter....

I found myself riding to the beach Wednesday alone on the U.C. normally I would of rode the R.K.C.! But I like riding with my significant other on long trips.

When I bought my Street Glide I wasn't seeing anyone, so it was just for me. I liked the styling and the fact that it had a radio because I like listening to music all the time. Since I bought it and the love of my life entered my world, I enjoy it just as much with her on-board when she doesn't want to ride solo on her Sportster (that's where the Crossbones comes in). One up, two up...it's all fun!

I told the wife that the bike only came with a solo seat. Been married 40 years. Long enough to know if I wreck with her on it and she lives, I will never here the end of it.

Mostly solo but we always take a week trip and occassionaly she goes. I can be switched over to two up in less than 5 minutes. I like the solid feel and comfort of a bagger.

90% of my riding is two up with my wife and I prefer it that way.

What he said.

I like my Street Glide for its size and comfort since I commute on the slab during the week.

My Street Bob also works mighty fine for this role but she is much happier when I want to play with her on the twisties; conversely, the Glide works well on the back roads but prefers the slab. Might as well give 'em what they want.

Mrs. has her own bike and will go 2-up on mine only if necessary.

Really Rhonda, I'm in a good mood, and didn't intend to come across pissy.

I guess I forgot my smily face ;-)

But I did find that part of your question amusing.

As for me its about 70% solo and 30% with the little woman.

Long distance touring is solo however, and the detachable tour pak comes in handy for the gear.

I use my bike as my daily transportation year around - around 30,000 miles a year on average. I rarely have a passenger. I go to/from work, run errands, etc on it. My wife will go with me on short rides now and then but she'd rather ride her own bike if we go anywhere that's very far.

I got a touring bike cuz it's big and heavy and comfortable. I do take a big road trip now and then and nothing beats the Touring models for the ride quality, big roomy saddle bags, etc.

I can't really see myself on anything other than a RK, E-Glide, or SG to be honest. I need those big sturdy saddle bags for shopping, travelling, etc.
