Default 2009 w/ ABS handlebar change?

I'm getting an '09 SG w/ ABS, and the the first thing I'm doing is putting on either the WO Chubby's or Khromewerks +2 sweepers. So, whats the real story.....can this be done on the '09's w/ ABS and what definately needs to changed besides the cluth cable?

If you go with the Khromewerks sweepers then nothing beside clutch cable 38649-08 is needed. I don't know about the WO's

Thanks! Then the 2009 throttle wire is long enough to be wired internally?

Nothing but a +3 or +4 clutch cable is necessary. Everything else will work fine. I have changed them out on 2 08's and the 09's aren't any different. I went with the Khrome Werks Sweepers on mine and love them. Great wrist angle.

I was quoted 3.5 hours shop labor plus the clutch cable and ABS brake lines. Internal wiring on the Chubbies is another 2 or so hours. I pick up my 09 ABS Ultra tomorrow with the internally wired WO575's. If you want, I'll give you a rundown of the bill. I ain't gonna be pretty (the bill, that is).

just answered related question. wish i was around these people willing to pay dealer's extreme prices... could do it for 1/2 and still get rich. yes, even with abs, you can change, no problem. for the cost of the bar (krome werks sweepers+2 = ~70 bucks) you can get comfortable. cable can be run externally from the fairing. have to loosen and re-align the brake line. just did on my '09 ultra with abs.

Thanks REM
Been waiting for that info as I also have a 09 with abs. I gonna try it which is alot better than $800. Who cares if the cable is outside the fairing.
Thanks
