Prices do drop below 10K. It's a different market. I sold a beautiful 98 RKC, with thousands invested, for 8.5 K a year and a half ago. That is way too much money for an 89.

It's steep for that year. You can definitely do better with some time and effort on the net. They're out there, you just have to find them.

It's high.... while some folks don't want to sell for less... the "value" is what you (the buyer)
are willing to pay for it. Seems to me for not much more you can get a decent used Road Glide... bikes are great deals for buyers

As the proud owner of a '76 BMW I can tell you first hand these old bikes can eat your lunch just to keep them going and the things you think would last forever are some of the first to fail. Get it just to have it, but not for an everyday bike.
