Detachables for 2009 Street Glide
FYI:
Already have the detachable sissy and backrest on her. Today I decided to get the detachable luggage rack (54215-09) that mounts behind the sissy bar. In the HD catalogue it mentions you need (76561-09) antenna relocation kit. You do NOT need to relocate it with this rack. The antenna is a full 2" left of the outside of the rack and allowed plenty of room for my T-bag to rest on the rack. I have the HD shorty antenna and still get perfect fm reception.
Also put the soft lowers on her for the rest of winter. A nice tight fit and no flapping at 70 mph. Brought the saddlebags in the house to warm up for the saddlebag lid bra kit (57805-03A). Then I think I'll chill out until I decide which exhaust to put on her.

Antenna
No pics yet. The antenna is the HD shorty available at any dealer. Had my T-bag resting on the detachable luggage rack today and the antenna was right at the bottom of the left hand side of the bag, Still got excellent FM reception.

No need to relocate antenna if just adding the two up detachable rack. Book says you do, but you don't. One of the first things I did was got the shorty rubber antenna and it works just fine with the luggage rack just like the original poster said.
Now I'm looking at hidden fairing antenna due to planning future Tour Pak.
