I am just courious what you guys are paying to have your tires swapped out and balanced if you just take them your wheels?
I got a quote from a local shop yesterday and i thought it was real high.
Thanks
Jim

If you buy the tires from the dealer ( the dealer that I use) they mount and balance for free. If you do not buy from them they charge 115.00 per tire.

$20.00 mounted and spin balanced. Another $1.50 for a new stem.
Always happy to see me too.

$20 over dealer cost if installed by them + $85 1 hour labor per tire if on the bike, $42.50 1/2 hour labor if off the bike. So, a 43102-91B MSRP is $159.95 would cost $158.47 total installed if wheel is off bike

Last time I did that with an Indy it was something like $30 each. Now do my own including static balance.

It cost me $40 a tire, wheel off bike, dynamically balanced. A little expensive, but I trust them with my wheels.

HD in Charleston charged me 45 per tire (off bike). I was in a jam and needed it done and they were more than happy to rape me....da bastards.
Same day, cycle gear would do it for 20 per tire but their "tire guy" was no there...figures.
