Default Corbin doesn't fit my HD tour pak!?

Have an 07 Road Glide with corbin solo seat and two up detachable tour pak rack. Had a touring pillion made and I can't put the detachable rack on the mounting points without the rack hitting the pillion. The rack hits the bottom of the "slant " on the back of the touring pillion, right on the seat pan and not the spongey part of the seat.

I thought of cutting the crossmember on the rack for about 1 minute but the rack is too expensive to screw with. Can you change the back of the pillion seat? I have an email into corbin about it. The tour pak works fine with the stock seat- glad I didn't sell it yet.

Anybody got any suggestions or am I screwed?

I have detachable tour pack on 09 Ultra. You must install touring pillon first and then solo seat for it to work. Don't know if this helps you?

Thanks for the reply.

Yea I know. I have the classic solo, touring pillion and two up detach. rack #53276-04. From their website under the description of the classic solo seat for 07 FLTR it says:

"Detachable Tour Pak Rack #53276-04. This is the rack to use if you want the trunk BEHIND your passenger. You can use the Corbin Streamliner Trunk, the HD Chopped Tour Pak or the HD King Tour Pak. Streamliner trunk includes a coordinated passenger pad. If you use one of the HD Tour Pacs, we offer a coordinated passenger pad. For the King Tour Pak, choose our low profile passenger pad #502 or a full Trunk Armrest #132 for maximum copilot comfort. For the Chopped Tour Pak, our low profile pad works excellent. "

SO the website says it should fit but it don't. I gotta chop off the back of the pillion or I'm screwed. But the seat pan's gotta change too.

Any other ideas?

Brilliant. The mounting order did the trick. #1 tour pack, #2 pillion, #3 Solo seat.

Cant put on the tour pak with the seat already mounted.

Beer time!!!

Thanks all.
