If the M/B rack is wider than the stock Harley rack, when you squeeze it in to make it fit the rear latch's are being put at a slight angle so that is what's making it a lot harder to put on and latch I think I'd try and space the bushing out a bit with some thin washers till everything lined up good, same would go for the fronts, once thats is done I think you'll like it a lot better and the latches will probably stay hooked up a lot better to, glad you liked the bushing's, fronts anyway

I just started getting mine on the bike tonight. I had to push / pull / bend the bracket to get it lined up right on the mounting spots, but after I got it dialed in, it went on there well.
I will be looking into those bushings, and so far, Im not impressed with the 'locking mech." that keeps someone from walking away with my tour pack.
