I've had good luck with the batterys from Wally World. They are the exact same size as the H.D. batterys, and have the same amp hr. rating as the H.D. batterys. They too, are glass matt batterys. Seem to hold up well, I have one in my Softail, and one in my Road King. You can get them off the shelf for $75.00

No I got the HD battery, I should have gotten the oddessy. The original battery was not bad, it was only about 3 years old when did the 113" HQ build . So I got a new battery to have every thing new. That's the one that went bad. I actually recharged the oringinal battery and it was doing fine but I could tell it was about ready to go. I just could'nt believe that they went up so much in less than a years time! Where did you get the oddessy at that price? The pricing I've seen has been a lot more and how long ago was this.
Good to hear from you Phil.

BOy, for 50 bucks difference BEFORE paying shipping charges, I think I'd probably pay the extra to buy local. I'm for saving a buck when I can, but what do you do if you get a battery that's bad or goes bad while in warranty. Pay to send it back. What a hassle and expense.
