?'s for guys w/stretched bags

Mine is lowered in the back and it's on the stock 16" rim, yes every once in a while it scrapes, for me it's usually on a left turn. Mine are the add on 4" extension that is molded on. There cheaper in cost but not to mold them on then paint. Might what to order the bag already extended and deeper or you can order skid plates from Shooter64, you can use rivets, or nut and bolt to secure them. I painted mine black and no knows they are there. Gives me peace of mind.

My SG is only lowered in the front with 18in wheels front and back. I never even scraped my floor boards. (yet). If I do get stretched bags I will replace the bags and not get extentions. I think if I went with extensions on my current bags and got a seam line, it would drive me nuts. lol

I have yet to hit the bags. I have the foot boards moved out so I end up scraping them instead.
Almost tore the fender off this past summer on one of my road trips. Pulled out of a gas station and dropped down over the curb trying to dodge the incoming traffic. The fender held up, just chipped up the paint.

You are right. I didn't see that before.
Plus on their web site I never noticed the bags weren't straight on the bottom either.
HD must have the worlds worst picture galley, for a "world wide dealer" of things that cost $20,000.
Their web designer must be a family member.

This is not about a flat bottoming out. When in a turn you are leaned over, therefore the part or piece that sticks on that side that is low will hit first. This means your floorboards or your bags. As in the picture of the CVO RoadGlide above you would have to scrape off a good piece of the saddlebag to get to the pipes.
