You have to get the bike out, put the helmet on, start it, and leave. The same thing you do with the sporty.
So whats the difference?
Answer: leave a little earlier (you will need the extra time) go to the store in the next town or state. Come home and ask if you need to go back for something else. Next time go to a different store in a different town or state.

My wife sent me to get some eggs last summer, I called and told her I got the eggs. She asked where did you go to get the eggs, my reply I am in Birmingham be home later. That's 260 miles round trip. Gotta love it.
Got any more questions?
Jim

+1 on that dirtdobber!

My wife loves the fact that I will run to the grocery store during riding seasn, but has learned that if I take the iPod on the way to the garage not to expect me back any time soon!

I use mine as daily transportation, and it does great! As a matter of fact I just got back from Walmart and hauled the following items, and it didn't look like I had anything extra:
2 twelve packs of coke
1 bag of dogfood
4 pack of toliet paper
1 carton of eggs
dog treats, mystery novel, bag of trail mix, blockbuster movie, and a Bagger magazine!
This in addition to having my chaps, two pair of goggles and two pair of gloves. How's that for running around?

+1 what he says.

A bagger's tour pak gives you much ez access space to accomadate work stuff like lunch, brief case etc.. and grocery purchases on the way home during the week.

No such thing as a short trip with a bagger or any other scoot.

It's good that you're thinking things through. Have you thought of renting a bike your interested in for a day or so. I'm guessing that you are worried a bagger would be clumsy and hard to work with when parking or maneuvering at the 7-11 for a slurpee.

I can understand that. I'm big enough to feel like a trained bear on a mini-bike when I jump on an 883!

Renting would be way more fun than getting e-mugged by forum baggers.

"You can have my bagger when you pry it from my cold dead hands."

I hate short trips on the Ultra.

I wear safety gear, helmet, gloves, jacket, all the time. Takes forever to get the gear on.

When I go for a ride, I go for a ride, not less than an hour at the least.

I live only two stoplights from work, through to pretty bad intersections during rush hour, so no thanks, I'll drive my 25 year old Jimmy back and forth.

Engine doesn't even get warmed up in 2 miles. Bad for it to sit in the sun all day at work for a 5 min ride.

Now, suit up and head to Texas or Arkansas or -Heaven (Colorado).

But that's just me. Bar hopping taint my thing, and profiling taint either (I got stock pipes fer crissake...)

Buy the Bagger, you'll love it.

Top of the line no matter how short or long the ride, just a pleasure to ride.

I have fit an 18 pack plus Ice in my RKCustom bags. You can put all your groceries in there. Get a bagger man, you can sport them out or totaly go geezer glide. they are great!!

I have a bar hopper and a bagger and most times when I ride for just a few miles its a pritty hard choice on which one to put a leg over. Bagger usally wins out.
