If you like to ride, doesn't matter what you're riding. I rode my RK to work everyday and am now doing same with Ultra. Now if we could just figure out how to get ride of the cages...

Anything between a mile and several thousand miles, always enjoyable.
Last year a put 13,386 on my RKC and slightly over 1,000 on my daily driver.

I am lucky and have two bikes, a 99 fatboy and an 08 SG.

On short trips around town I usually jump on the FatBoy, but when momma come along it the SG.

But it would be no big deal to ride a bagger to run errands around town.

Worst thing I could think of is going out and having to get on the RG and only going 3 miles for a loaf of bread. The radio station I listen to plays a lot of Supertramp "Take the long way home" I would have toast by the time I got back. I hate those short rides!!!

The touring bikes are very easy and nimble bikes believe it or not. I almost NEVER drive the car or truck - year around for all purposes it's the bike. I truly HATE driving a car or truck basically and i'm pretty pissed off when I have to go somewhere and can't go on my bike.

An EGC will haul a surprising amount of groceries on errands if you pack it right. Those saddle bags are huge and the tourpak will hold a 20 lbs turkey and all the fixin's!

I appreciate the feedback. Don’t get me wrong, I take my Sportster every chance I get… short and long trips.
