+1 on the quick detach tour pack! I can have fun on a 2000 mile trip or a trip to the beer store.

+2 on the quick release. Ultra with a solo seat for around town; tourpack when I am cruising. Two bikes in one.

I bought a SG for myself and a crossbones for the wife (for barhopping for me). Since riding the SG I haven't even thought about riding the crossbones. It might as well be a 700lb paperweight!

Without question, the dresser wins all pissing matches pertaing to taking the cage or EGC!!!!! I have even gone to the point of taking it and the OL taking the cage and we meet at the same place leaveing the house together just so I could ride!!!

She don't see the sense behind it and I tell her that the difference between rideing and being driven!!!!

If your in shape and have an inseam of 31" or more, get the Ultra. If you do not have these qualifications get SG or RG they will do anything the Ultra will and paddling around parking lots and stop and go traffic are just easier on a lower, lighter bike.

I say this because at 63 and outa shape with short legs I don't fear semi's or soccer moms, just parking lots with my bride on the back.

hope this helps,
wolf1
