Default Baker DD7 anbody?
Any of you planning to install a Baker DD7 this winter or are you satisfied with the Harley 6 speed?

Not planning on it myself, as I'm happy with six speeds and don't personally feel that the bang equals the buck, but there's a very good Baker DD7 install article in this month's (January) "American Bagger" magazine.

Id do it if I could share tool costs. But $500.00 or more for special tools...
Now you know why it costs so much for a dealer to do it. Not that people care.

I was going to do it on my '07 in Feb. until I had an '09 follow me home in November. :-l

Still haven't ruled it out a little later.

Due to you being military, I'd be willing to let you borrow my special tools for the tranny as long as you covered the shipping.

I'd go for it if I lived close to Dalton. Maybe work a deal with him.
