I was in the same dilema as you. Stuck between a RK and an RG. I ended up buying a used RK because of the price and the mods that were already done for me, but I still eventually want an RG.
The thing I like about the RK is that I can just pop off the windshield for local riding.
Atleast you've settled on a FL.....When I got mine it was "narrowed down" to the RK, the NightTrain, Rocker, or Crossbones......The color was the only thing I didn't have to think about.....

Yep, you've got the Harley flu pretty bad. When it comes to bikes, go emotional so you don't have any regrets. If you go practical, you will always look back. Most folks on this forum who had Road Kings and now have glides have no regrets, only good memories and stories.
