Talking How Fast Have You Been?

Just curious as to the top speed you guys have hit on your bikes. I am two weeks into my bagger brace and was out last weekend and hit 110 before I backed off. I've never seen this topic adderssed here. Just curious.

Thanks,

Glen

Not to be a dick here, but what's the real purpose for going 110 MPH ?. Don't we all know anything is capable of going 110 MPH ?. Just that I don't want to see brother or sister on this site go down.

Ride safe...Glen,

Thorey

I was around 110 also, bike started to wobble and I slowly let off. I won't do that again unless I get a brace.

Fast enough to get where I am going. I don't want to go fast any more, I just want to get to the speed I want to ride Really Quick.

Both my bikes are capable of going well beyond the speedo reading, the 124" has been to the throttle stop. The 155" geared even higher, will never happen. It is quite a thrill ride no doubt, the real thrill is in acceleration for me.

I have hit 80 and never really saw any reason to go faster. Have to say I do love my bagger brace for the twisties my ultra never handled better.

Isnt 110 mph breaking the speed limit?? I mean I could never even think of doing something so irresponsible. JFWY
I went down at 120 with no helmet back in 89 (when I was a stupid kid). I told myself that the days of going past 100 were over but as time went on I have twisted the throttle on my RK to 100 to 105 some where in there anyway.
I dont think our Harley's were designed for 100 plus. Now my sportbike on the other hand was. It just wasnt designed to go thru large pot holes, in a hard corner at 120.
