I can do 110 on my 04 RG stock 88
and I can do all speedo on my 07 Lowrider and still have one more gear.
I wish it was the other way around for the highway traffic.

 

What are you guys riding?? My stock 07 FLHTC will barely break 100 mph in 5th gear,
less than that in 6th. But most the time its the speed limit for me.

 

120 on a VTX 1800..still accelerating but i let up on the throttle.

 

80 mph on the RKC, once, on the interstate. Other than that one time I ride the speed limit. Bought the Road King to cruise, not race.

Now in my 2006 GTO I have had it up to 145 mph. Probably one of the reasons I traded it. I was liking it WAY too much.

 

Hit 85 once on the highway. Has to slow down as severe thumping developed on the back of my helmet.

Mrs Sammi wass letting me know that she wasn't pleased with the speed.

About 70 is the max I ride.

 

Being a hot rodder in my youth, I used to spend alot of time over 100. Had my mazda miata up to 125 on 95s with the top down, that was interesting. On two wheels coming form the crotch rocket realm, i've been up to 165. As I get older and have used up most on my 9 lives I decided to slooooooow down. Thats why I bought a bagger, so I could slow down and smell the roses.......

 

I've been to 100, maybe 105. I never felt any wobbling, nothing to worry about. But I generally keep it under 80, except to pass. Partly because I don't like the look of the windshield and it gets really windy at 80 and above.

 

Never been in that big of hurry.The speed limit is fast enough for me,I enjoy my grandkids to much!!!!

 

I had my Road Glide up to 100 and I felt like I had a lot left over. I shut it down cause I can't really afford to go to jail. I thought that it felt solid as a rock. Much better than my Kaw 1000 from 1980. I was going up a hil during the run and it still wanted to go faster, just dial it to whatever. I don't ever plan to do it again. I was currious. You know what killed the cat.
