Hit 95mph on accident cruising out to Palm Springs last weekend. I was just going with the flow, not even in the fast lane and we were scooting right along. People must really enjoy tanning huh? The bike felt fine at that speed but I still moved over and slowed her down a bit.

 

Probably stupid but took the FLHT to 100 just to see if could.. Did this on a very straight lonely stretch of road where were no driveways or crossroads to interfere.. Saw the 100 Mark and was happy, have not been over 85 since..

 

120 on the Autobahn on my Kawasaki Vulcan. I usually keep my Harley around 80 on the west texas highways but have gotten up to 100 to pass people, or leave some tailgater in the dust.

 

I remember doing this ONCE only on a Harley, it was my 03 Anniv. SoftTail which actually was my best running and handling Harley to date, but I had approached 105 and felt the back wheel pickup a vibration, by the time I let off and held tight, the bike developed a wobble but not bad enough to bring it down, so I am here to testify that Harley's are not to be riden past 80 mph for safety's sake.

 

My Cavalier beater will only hit 110mph if dropped out of an airplane...

On the bike...about 85, I have no need to go faster than that on it, plus I'm skurred

In the STI, about 125, I aint skurred in that!

 

About 80-85 when passing on the Interstate.....and was nervous then!

I think 70 is the perfect speed on a Road King.

To go beyond that, I'll need to be on four wheels!

I like getting up to speed quickly, but, rarely run the rpm's beyond 4500.

I hit 115 WOT before i had engine work done.Stock 88 with SERT,SE slipons,K&N filter.
The fastest was on my old '83 750 Interceptor,135MPH.

 

well, ive been high 90's on my old ultra. Had a ninja 636 an it toped out at 163mph. my best friend was riding his 900 and he flew past me. he said he was going 180mph. there may be some no believers, but anyone here who came from crotch rockets has done the same im sure. i use to drag race banshees at the track. 1/8th mile. best i ever got on a stock 350 motor on alky was 92mph in 7.2 sec that was with a serious port job however. ive seen highly moded banshees run 120's in the 1/8th.
