I just checked all the bolts and such then i took it apart and replaced all the rubbers, as far as tuning, i have an older bike with an old fuel management and i plugged in the laptop and richened it up a little bit and the popping went away so i am not sure if it was the intake or the tuning, but i think that both helped. Mine still pops a little bit when it is cold but when it warms up it stops. I need to upgrade my fuel management pack then i could adjust more. I also have been told if i get it on a Dino i could get it allot closer.

Those thunderheaders are decent sounding and performing pipes...don't trash them till you get her tuned. Then listen and decide.
Not sure what fuelmanagment device you have, but if it's a PCIII, go to the dynojet site and see if they have a free map for your bike and intake exhaust combo.

Yeah, you really need to look to determine what you got going on there.....also check to see if previous owner upgraded air cleaner.....if you have performance pipes and air cleaner, but no upgraded fuel managment, then pray previous owner had dealer flash the computer to compensate.
If you don't know what to look for, it's gonna cost you a few bucks to have a dealer do it for you.....No one except dealer can read if stock ecu has been flashed, but experienced wrenches can at least determine what you got going with exhaust and air cleaner.
