i put these on my rdglide and they r the best thing i ever did. even during the day they r awsome, but at nite the bike looks like a 747 nose gear running down the road. cars and trucks pull over 2 get out of the way!!!! definitely works as a safety item!!!! worth every penny
What do these use for the ON/OFF switch ? Is it a stock looking switch in one of the blanked off spots used on the Classic and Ultra for the lights ? Anyone have a picture ? Thanks
ayup... got them on hy FLTRi... opps.. HD said they don't fit.... guess I should read that FIRST.... oh well.... as a buddy of mine said, after a long ride... " you don't need any more lights on your bike.... "
lemme see if I can losd this
I am using a similar style, and they are Hella 2020s. They are about $50 for the set. Each light has a 55W bulb for fog and a 55W bulb for driving. By using two relays, I have the fog lights triggered by the low beam, and the driving lights triggered by the high beam. The master on/off switch is my AUX switch. Great lights at an affordable price.
I have had mine for 4 years now, love them. Got them off e-bay along with a set of crash bar mounted foot pegs for $75. I wired them internally to the original spot lamp wiring, works great.
On my 2009 eg/classic i replaced all bulbs with the Xenon bulbs..What a difference it makes....you can see and be seen!! Give off a blue tint.. Can i use the Xenon bulbs with the fog lamps??
