Either I'm built perfectly for the Ultra or my body is less sensitive, because I just haven't experienced all the aches and pains of others, and my bars and seat are still stock. Makes me wonder?

Are you bragging or complaining?

There is no such thing as a "one size fits all" motorcycle.

I had similar pain after about 100 miles with my 08 Ultra. What fixed my problem was when I added a backrest which caused me to change the way I was sitting. Before this I was looking to doing a mod to the seat and add memory foam or gel pad.

I don't know how much difference there is between your '08 and my '07 ergonomically, but I was having the same problems you were with the terrible pain through my shoulder blades. I swapped the factory seat for a mustang and then installed the 2" pullback handlebars and voila! No more back pains!

Likewise for me. I rode a 3,000 mile trip and only after 5 or 6 hours did I even consider any comfort concerns.
