Default Need help picking new bike, Classic or Ultra Classic?

Here is my problem. I have narrowed my choice down to a 92-98 Classic or Ultra Classic with a carb, no Fuel injection. I have heard the tuning headaches with the early FI units so I want to keep it simple. What is the difference between the Ultra and the regular classic? I do want the electronic cruise control but dont know when they started putting it on these bikes. Any info or input would be gladly accepted, pro or con on either model. I am coming from a bad accident off of my Wide Glide and want to enjoy more seat time that I cant get on the Glide. Thanks! Mike

UC has cruise, CB, Lower fairings and trunk. Otherwise there is little difference. Oh yea, some of the Classics did not come with factory radio.

Spend the money on the UC, you don't want to say "I wish I had spent the extra money and bought the UC" a year down the road.

I have the EG Classic and the amount of money that I put into it, could have bought an Ultra. Added Cruise Control, Rear Speakers, etc, so it almost an Ultra. Still thinking about adding the Lower Fairings.
