Default Ipod Nano Ibikmount, anyone using it?

Thinking of picking this up for the Ipod Nano to attach to the bars. Anyone using one? Looks like it would work great.

If you are crafty with sheet metal you can make your own mounting plate for your iPod. I’ve got a ScanDisk with 2 MB that I mount to this bracket (see pics). I’ve got the same mount on my Road Glide and Ultra. My friend made me the bracket which mounts to the throttle housing bracket screw. The same screw you would mount HD’s clock. There is industrial Velcro on the mounting plate and the back of the ScanDisk to keep it put. I’ve had it on my bikes for over a year without problems.

Did you ever get that mount and if so, how does it work? Shoot me an email at a.boogeyman@yahoo.com if you will and let me know.

Thanks!

Look into the RAM mounts before you spend any money. They are really well built and high quality. Police use a variety of their mounts for the computer equipment in the cars etc. They make one especially for motorcyles and the IPOD Nanohttp://www.ram-mount.com/gps_mount/m...b_138_ap2u.htm. I am about to order one myself for my Street Glide.
Plus if you have a 2007 HD Radio you can directly plug the Ipod into the radio this year which is a nice feature.

I agree! Ram mount stuff is awesome! Don't spend your money on that bicycle mount! It is not made for motorcycle, and cannot absorb the vibration and punishment.

Been doin this since Dec 2005 and it works PISSSSAAAA, as we say here in Beantown...velcro one of those rubber belt clip type mounts to the dash board and run the cable into the aux..I select my playlist and put it on random just before I take off and I'm good all day...
