I use ITrip and go wireless. I can walk 50 ft from bike and it works fine.

I was worried about vibration killing the ipod so i opted to run the 1/8" patch cord from my HD Stereo Aux port under the fuel tank console...under my seat and up the driver back rest slot....plenty of cord left to plug in ipod, select music, push playand place into drivers back rest pouch and ride! Took about 5 mins to run cord. Very clean looking and now my wife or girlfriend can drive selection music as well.....[8D]

I emailed the company and they responed that it was designed for a Bicycle and not for a motorcycle.
they did not think it would withstand the vibration or actually fit on the handlebars.

I know I was a little concerned about mounting my ipod physically to the bike due to vibration, onemethod to get around this I've found is with the ipod nano... unfortunately the largest one is 8 gigs but it has solid state memory... (which makes it a bit more expensive per gig than the larger ipods) but there isn't any moving parts like spinning platters of a hard drive for something to fail on.
