I run a scorpion exo1000 matte black in the winter and on long highway runs. I also have a ghetto 1/2 cap

Default Helmets

For many years I used to not wear helmets, but with my many years of nursing I changed my mind. I wear many different types 1/2, 3/4 or full, but I will always some kind of helmet.

+1 on the full face modular. Only got one head and it hurts when it meets cement.

had a 1/2 shell for a bit, now full face Shoei RF-1000 - very comfy for a full face. After motocross racing for a number of years, 3 of it in the Pro class, would never ride w/out a helmet - cement and head = bad sh*t!

Always and forever...I wear a 3/4 everyplace I go. Feel naked without it. It saved my life several times, or at least from brain damage. My wife and kids question the brain damage part, they think that has happened already. Can't please everyone!!!!

I do believe every grown a$$ person should choose their own way of living, IF we truly live in a free society.

Ohio does not require helmet use for adults. I choose to wear majority of the time a 3/4 Shoei RJ Platinium, and a junk DOT 1/2 H-D KBC for around town riding. Only rode once without a helmet for a quick fuel run and it just didn't seem right? Wear what you feel comfortable with or nothing at all. Hopefully it's your choice and not the man's.

I wouldn't go down the street without my helmet. Arkansas did away with the helmet law the same year they passed the seat belt law. ( go figure ). I have two, 3/4 for fall/winter with a snap on shield if I run into rain. 1/2 helmet for summer with three snaps for pre mention shield. I have never been able to ride in the rain with sun glasses.
