My 08 SG is also Crimson Red SunGlo, although I'm not quite ready to change it out yet, I've thought about going with the Crimson Red Denim, painted inner fairing. Same color as the bike but still a contrast -- in finishes.
Like you, I'd really like to see one first.

Paint it to match. Wife and I saw an Ultra painted this way....she doesn't pay much attention to other bikes but absolutely coo'd and drooled over this one.

thanks for the advice guys.... I jkust dont want it to be too much ya know? I think the red on red is sharp dont get me wrong but a lil contrast is always nice... I will keeep you all up to date on the decision! Thanks for everyones input!

You can't go wrong either way. I have a white bike and had the inner shot vivid black with fine silver flake. I prefer it to a color-matched white inner fairing which I've seen on SG's and EG's, but, as others have posted with white bikes with white inner fairings, they're happy with the white.

You'll enjoy which ever you choose.

These questions are always impossible to answer. Of course it comes down to what you like the best, everyone is going to have a different opinion. My opinion would be to get rid of the fairing all together

painting to match the fairing is the best buck you can spend did mine last year

was a great project took me about 1 month well worth it-ride safe
