Default Problem with long angled highway peg mounts

Just bought a set of the HD long angled highway peg mounts 50829-07A. Went to install them last night and ran into a little problem. I can't get the main bolt out to be able to open the clamp and install them on the engine guard. It is almost like they are welded in there. Anyone else have theirs ship with the bolt in there that tight??? I tried getting it out but I don't want to use too much force and snap a bolt.

I had the same problem. Ended up loosening it up after using alot of force. I'm 5'8" and after putting it on the bar, couldn't find a position where the pegs weren't in the way. Did't use them after all, and would have opted to purchase the one with shorter arms.

Izzo did yours have red loctite on it??? Still boggles the mind that they would thread a bolt with red loctite applied to a brand new part.
