I worked 12 of the hardest, most stressful, mind and body zapping, hours I have ever worked in my entire life on a hospital floor today. I came home dragging my butt, logged on to my favorite HD forum, and started trying to catch up on the posts. Wasn't too hard to do on the general section, off topic, classifieds....but then I come to the touring and it's page after page after page after page of new posts and I just can't come to the end of it. Tells me one thing....TOURING is where it's all at!! I swear, either more people have touring bikes or either they're the most excited, chattiest of all our forum members!!

So....what do ya think?

I know one thing....when we get ours I'm going to give ya'll a run for the your money and have my fair share here too...asking all kinds of questions, bragging on our Ultra like it might be the sexiest thing on the planet....asking what kind of upgrades are the best...you know.

I think I'm going to sleep now....so I can do it all again tomorrow. I'll check ya'll tomorrow night.....you are a great bunch of guys......yawnnn...you know you are......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

 

I'm a forum junkie - Mostly high-end audio and recording. Some of those forums get pretty busy, some of them I hit "show all new posts" - But here, I could never go through everything I'd want. I pretty much hit the Touring section and maybe the "Showdown" forum (I really enjoy some of the art) and geez, there's a lot of posts... I went through 8 or 9 pages of new posts just in the Touring section.

I'll take your word for it if that's a lot more than the other sections though... But thank Jeebus for this place - In the summer for technical issues, in the winter for - well, for just another reason to dream about spring.

 

I'm on this forum everyday. And everyday I learn or see something new. I don't post a whole lot, but I read as much as I can. When I have a question, this is the place to get the answer.

 

It's kinds like the ER at any hospital, always open, always busy...

 

Touring Section's a dead-end for us, Harley Riders coming from all kinds of bikes, Big, Small, Slow and Fast. Tried this, Tried that and here we are...Touring on this bagger forum/thread.

It's liking going to a boxing match. You sit through the other guys just to get to see the Heavy Weights. Everyone wants to be there. AND IN THIS THREAD, RIDING THE VIVID BLACK ULTRA..... You get the idea.

Not always a good thing. Look at all the post put up that have NOTHING to do with touring even though they may have a section for the post it still winds up right here. One other funny thing is a woman can ask about makeup application on here and will get 300 responses for it. Nothing but love for ya Rhonda.
