Default ARC Mini amp install hidden problem solved!!!!!

I have amp in place and speakers too. Power wire is ran to positive and ground wire is secure. I need help right now with knowing how to wire new speakers and how to ground the blue wire to the cig lighter. Firecap501 has not called back and I am trying to complete my install by 11:00am. Can anyone help?

Update!....after a long and tedious search the problem ended up being the "Auxiliary On" wire!!!

Speaker wires: amp to speakers

blue wire is your 12v turn on wire, it needs to connected to a accessory wire like the orange one off the headlight wire.

Unhappy I can't get the amp to power up!!!

Here is a few pics of what I have done. I could use some help here if anyone can figure out my problem...

This is what I have done:

The red power card is going to the positive on the battery and I have a 40amp fuse in the inline fuse box.
The purple ground wire is fastened to the right saddlebag rail and frame.
The blue wire is connected to the cig lighter red cord. I tried moving it to the orange head light connector and no change.
The new speaker wires are ran to the amp and the original wires are connected with the individual connections that came with the amp.
button is depressed
when I insert fuse I do get that little spark.
I removed and reinstalled the red power cord and blue cord that is inserted in the amp

Speaker outputs go from the head unit to the left & right input leads on the amp, and from the outputs from the amp to the left and right speakers. When running an amp off the Harman Kardon head unit they normally require a lo-pass converter unless that amp already has one built in?

The amp has a power connection block, and from there you run the 12V positive (left side = red) to the 12V terminal on the battery, and the negative (right side = ground) to a good clean ground bolt on the frame (make sure it's a bare metal surface or paint will cause a false ground). The blue wire in between the +/- is the remote trigger wire. This lead normally connects to the radio's blue (remote trigger) wire to tell the amp to turn on when the radio's powered.

I don't think the HK head unit has a trigger wire and if not, then connect this blue wire to a powered 12V switched feed so that the amp turns on when it see's power switched on from the ignition. If you don't have a meter to test continuity then get a 12V test light and ensure you have power at the amp, and power at the switched feed (blue) when you turn the ignition switch on.

It's as simple as that. If the amp does not have a lo-pass converter then you may require one in order for the amp to work with the HK head unit. Check your voltages first and the ground. That should rule out any issues powering the amp up and will confirm if you have that connected right. From there it's a couple simple speaker connections and you should have sound.

Hi, I've just installed the mini 125 and i ran main red to battery with 25 amp fuse, ground to ground post on triple clamp and switched power from orange/white from headlight. Didn't use the high low converter and once I figured out to push the rca button in she rocked. Good luck.

I'm in the middle of the install myself and need some ground wire locations.
