Default Just put the Rineharts on....

Wow, I finally feel like I'm riding a Harley. I know some like the sound of the stock '09 cans but they just don't compare with the tone of the Rineharts. We'll see how loud they get once I put some miles on them. Right now it's just a little louder than stock until you open it up.

i'm in the same situation i have a set of reinhart slip-ons ready to put on .never actually heard them on a stock header .everyone i know has done the tru-duels . so i'm thinking they should sound about right with the stock header. not quite as loud but good sounding
think i will go the heavy breather and some kind of tuner though.

I'll put a tuner on when I upgrade the intake. This way I'll have an excuse to add cubic inches if I damage the motor.

Put my Rinehart slipons, SEAC, PCV on couple of days ago. I had V&H basic slipons the last two bikes I had and I believe they were louder than these Rineharts, but that's OK by me. People have told me they get a little louder after some miles.

I'm pretty happy with my set - just hope the end caps don't fade like others in the past...

Did they bolt up without any hassles?

seems to me since this newer style header pipe flows out both sides more than the older style they would sound more like a tru-duel set up. guess i'll find out soon enough
