Yes, the main reason I went with the Rineharts is the way it complements the Vivid Black bike with the end caps.

Only issue I had were the clamps that connect them to the header. They wouldn't just slip over the ends of the Rineharts. I actually took a hammer and tapped them on. Total time was about 45 minutes which included removing the bags and polishing them up before starting.

Mega,
One issue I had with the Rinehart slipons was when I got them all bolted up I only had about 1/8" to 1/4" of clearence between the muffler and the axle nut on the right side. Easy fix, went to the local Fastenal Store and ordered 4-5/8"OD X 5/16"ID X 3/4"length chrome spacers and put them between the HD original bracket that goes thru the rubber and the welded on bracket on top of the muffler, gave me more clearence and looks factory.

Thanks, I'll check my clearance again in a few days. I think I had a little more than that (1/2" or so) but I was anxious to get them on and it running.

I know it will probably be obvious when I get my bike but can you take a pic of the clearance issue and the spacer you installed?

I have the Rineharts, Vance & Hines true duals, power commander, and stage 1 intake on my '07 SG. Every time I start it up I'm reminded of why I love these bikes (and mods) so much.

My SG is an 06> Ive had my Rinehart slip ons mounted for a couple of seasons with no discolouration. They sound great although now a bit louder with the 95" done and S&S 510 gear cams. When i first installed the mufflers they were good sounding but after a couple thousand kms, they started to sound great! With the cams done it sounds even better now with just a slight lope to her.

Enjoy your bike!

I was very happy with my Rinehart slip ons until I rode 2 weeks ago with an older 103 Screaming Eagle EG. Boy what a difference the sound was between my bike and his. I NEED a 103.

I'm sure the cams you installed give your bike a sound of its own also.
