Default SERT change...anyone heard??

Ah whats another set back...I made an appointment 2 weeks ago for SERT, slip-ons, Stage 1, bla, bla.
So I drop the bike off Tuesday PM (appt is for Wednesday) Now mind you, I had the parts mgr. order the appropriate parts TWO weeks ago, no problems at drop off, "we'll call you when it's ready". I had to call them today to find out if the bike was ready just to have them tell me that the SERT was backordered and that HD has told the dealers not to install the #32107-01D and to wait for the"new" # 32107-01E which will be released on May 1st. Has anyone else heard this from their dealers?? Could this be a good thing???

E was released months ago. Although some dealer had problems getting it because of a screw up at HD's warehouse. I got my E over a month ago with the rev G CD. Their just screwing with you.

You do need the Rev G CD as it's for the closed loop that you have on the 06. You could check with M&M, Zanotti, Boston Harley, Chicago Harley and Ebay.

It may be a dealer to dealer issue. My HD here in So. Cal (Pomona Valley HD) told me in February that the SERT was currently on backorder and that they would not be receiving the new E version until end of April. In fact, that is one of the factors in my deciding to go with the PCIII.

What are we talking about the software on the CD or the SERT itself?
