You do need the Rev G CD as it's for the closed loop that you have on the 06. You could check with M&M, Zanotti, Boston Harley, Chicago Harley and Ebay.
'06 Road King doesn't have closed-loop. "E" model SERTS have been available for quite a while now, and even a "D" model would work on his bike.

How is the "E" differant from the "D"?
It's just a software CD revision from what I've been told. The SERT is the same. And since we paid a ridiculous price for the SERT any software updates should be downloadable from the MOCO. I'm sure that will never happen.
