I've done some searching on the forum and there have been many opinions on cable length needed and type of cable to use. I assume that I have to change the cables and the wiring to a longer length but can someone help me out with which ones to use.
Bike is an '03 Ultra and I am planning on going with the 13" Cyclesmiths.

6" over stock on the clutch, brake and throttles, you will be OK on the wires

But Whosnext is right you should be safe with 6+ on all cables.

 

MassHD, is on the money with Johnny Vaughn, that is who I got my brake cable from for my 09 SG with ABS, everyone else wanted me to buy the whole damn kit for something like $350, he got me just the one line I needed! Johnny is the man!!

 

+6 will work fine.Thats what I used on my 05 EGC.
