SHORT - 1/8" male stereo plug to 1/8" male stereo plug???

I have an mp3 player mounted to my 05 Ultra dash/fairing lip and run a 1/8" patch cord from the mp3 to the Aux in.

DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHERE TO GET A SHORT BLACK ONE LIKE ABOUT A FOOT LONG??? ANY CUSTOM PLACES???

I have been Googling for an hour - no go - smallest Radio Shack has is 1 foot and gray.

got a soldering iron? Radio Shack has the connectors, and probably the wire... make your own

 

I'm with Neggy ZRXOA 5248. Get some nice chrome ends and make one.

 

The other option is to get a premade one, fold the extra cord up on itself and shrinkwrap it.

Circut City has a kit from a company called Smoke. It has a retractable cord for plugging in to the AUX. plus a cigarette lighter adapter, and a wall adapter for charging. It also has a extra set of earbuds, a splitter so 2 can plug in earbuds and an adapter to plug into your TV or Stereo. Oh and a cassette adapter. Around $30.00

 

I just bought a 1 foot cord from Radio Shack for $4.00, I bought 2 right angle adapters for each end, used some shrink wrap to make it look all together. The cord was tan, so I just spray painted it black.

Total price about $12.00.

Mix-it has a 12" one. Actualy 2 but the 90 deg one seems to be out of stock. I made mine out of two old ear sets that I spliced together. Made it long enough to slip under the radio thru the fairing and up to the windshield pouch. The 90 is less obvious coming out of the radio.
