I have the ironside heated grips. They work very well. I think the settings run from 1 to 6. I keep mine on 2 and only need to turn them up to 4 when wearing my winter gloves in cold weather. I am very happy with them. Installation cost as much as the grips, however.

When I bought my 07 RKC my dealer suggested I not get the HD grips b because of a lot of warrentee probless. They were installing a snowmobile heated grip with no problems. So that's what I have. Get it! It's the best accessory I have ever put on a motorcycle.

I like mine a lot.
Installation wasn't the easiest. I found the instructions lacking.
Here's a tip, when they have you wire into the fusebox the one pin is
a bus of 4 pins and all have to come out together. I tried forcing just one
out and bent it.
Wound up replacing the whole bus.

Something else, the dealer mentioned that they had problems with them in the past
but there was an update that took care of the problem

I was told, by the dealership of course, that with the throttle by wire it was a complicated process which required making sure the sensor was properly tuned. I'm not the mechanically inclined type so I had them do it.

I like mine. I have read about problems other people have had but so far so good. I don't have TBW so installation was simple.

Unless you really know what you're doing, have the dealer install them.

I have them and use them. They work very well. I start out at 4 and end up putting them to 2 and they keep my hands nice and warm. They were part of the options already on the bike from the dealer.
