09 Ultra stage 2 103 getting dyno tuned tomorrow.
Hi all, I'm finally going to get the dyno tune tomorrow at Rods Performance in AL. I'm happy to say that I built my 103 myself and though I didn't start out to build on a budget I think I ended up with a budget build. I bought the SE flat top piston kit and stock cylinders bored to match them from Vee Twin Performance for $310 and picked up the SE 255 cams new on ebay for $62, then I decided to get my stock heads done so I took them to Southern KY Motorsports and got a mild port polish job and had the heads cc'd for $265, all that was left was $53.58 in gaskets. I decided to use the new SEST for tuning and it was $500 for everything, so that put me in my build for $1190.57 which I don't feel was to bad. I have been playing with the tuning and have about 600 miles on it so far and I think it's pretty close, if the dyno tune gets more out of it I'm really going to be happy with it. I'll post the dyno results tomorrow night.
