Default LEDs? and Why?

After doing a search for LEDs, I am more confused then when I started. Why did you install them? What LEDs did you buy and why? I have an Ultra Classic and was thinking about putting them in. I have the turn signal/break light module that flashed when I apply the breaks. Is there a set of LEDs that will work with the module? I like having the rear lights flash when applying the breaks. (Pictures if you got them would be greatly appreciated)

Thanks

I dont have the flash mode installed but did put all LEDs on my trike. The reason for spending the extra money to buy them is
1) They last longer then incandesant bulbs
2) Lower voltage needed to run them
3) They are brighter

I installed http://ridetimetechnology.com/index.htm in my Tourpack Brake lights ( 08 and newere come with LED sidelights installed)
My rear brake lights are from http://Kuyrakyn.com
My front turn signals are from http://www.customdynamics.com/motorcycle_led_bulbs.htm
you will need a load equalizer for both front and rear turn signals. Badlands load eqaulizer is a good product with no heat

Just my two cents

You must have seen other bikes with LEDs. MUCH more light. I have Kuryaken LED Silver Bullets, LED fender tip light, LED tail light, and LED Shotgunner grab rail delete unit. I've been hit on my bike by a pick up and a couple of bikes. Can't have too much light back there.

Oh yeah, I have one of those flasher things and LED saddlebag spoilers and LED plate light. And single red LEDs in each side of my fairing below the cigar lighter point. (Helps me find it at night).

You'll like them.

PS : You can have a Back-off module installed to operate the LEDs

I have the LED's with the brake flashing modules, and I love em. I've had a ton of folks pull up and make a comment about how bright they are, and how they got their attention at the light. They also have an arrow in the tail light that flashes with the turn signals. I've had em for years, and never once had a problem. They're the Kuryakyn model.

I changed over to the Kuryakyn Panacea Smoked LED's. The taillight flashes when you engage the brakes and has directional arrows in it also. I added the RideTimeTechnologies led's to my TP. I hooked them up for Tail/Stop/Turn. You can definately see them day or night. Coming from the trucking industry, it didn't take long to figure out that LED's are less hastle as they last longer and are brighter. LED's tend to cut through fog and be seen vs. incadescent. Plus, I think they just look cool, but what do I know. Just my .02

I have the stop/run/turn module from HD it's not LED but works well.
I also have the HD tri-bar stop/run which is LED and like it as well.
plug and play install, except for the Tri-bar harness being to short.

These pics arent the best. Couldnt figure out how to turn my flash off on the camera. Anyway, the LED's are superbright...I love them!

Here's a brake OFF-brake ON pic comparison.
