"I'm confused. What's the advantage of parking your bike on a center stand unless you are planning to do some maintenance work on it?

It's certainly not difficult to use the Jiffy Stand and in my opinion, the bike is more stable and less likely to turn over on the Jiffy Stand.

So, again, why use a center stand when the Jiffy stand does the job easier and safer, IMO???? "

It makes for much better pics of your baby!

BTW, there is no way I can get my scoot on the stand while on the bike...tried over and over and it just can't be done. Even from the side it's no picnic but it works well enough that it's staying on no matter what.

Would this fit a 96 Ultra Classic? Are the frames sufficiently similar?

.. exactly. The EZ UP centre stand, which as far as I can see is still in production from the same supplier.

The supplier says that their records only go back to the 1999 bikes. So the question is, are there any significant differences in the lower frame rails between say 1995 and 1999? Has anyone with an older bike, fitted one of these stands?

You'd have been better off starting a new thread for this instead of resurrecting one from 13 years ago, but here. It fits 1999, and as far as I can tell, would fit your 1996. You might contact them and ask.
