Default LED Tour Pak Lights - Ride Time Technology

Thinking about getting the LED Tour Pak light kit from Ride Time Technology. Anyone have any experience with this? Is the lighting on the tour pak really improved that much? How was the install? Not sure how "easy" the removal of the tour pak lenses would be in looking at the instructions on their web site. How do the signals look too?

I got the led's from Keith at RideTime. Easy install. Included instructions are great. Take out TP liner, pop out bulb, use small screwdriver to pop out tab on lens as you push it from inside with a piece of PVC (included) and it will come right off. I hooked mine up as Tail/Stop/Turn. Had my wife follow me and she says there is a very noticeable difference. Keith is a great guy. I would also recommend his 48 led run/brake for rear fender and 15 led front fender tip light.

I have them and Keith from Ride Time is top notch. There are two different was to install them. There is one kit that is hard wired and another which is plugged into the existing socket. Hardest part of the install is getting the lenses off the tour pak and that takes all of 5 minutes. There is also variations on how the leds will light - which part of the panel will come on for running lights and which for stop lights. You can also wire them fro blinkers. In my opinon they are 100 times better than stock.

I have it all too and hardwired it through my Badlands run/turn/brake controller. It's worth it! http://www.ridetimetechnology.com/

Wow, lots of great reviews. I am ordering the set with the plug for my existing socket tonight. Never can hurt to have more light on the rear. I like the idea of having the extras signal lights too. One more question, did anyone have to add any of the "non hardening body/windshield sealant" to the lens to reset it or not? I have looked and not been able to find anything like this at my local Advance Auto Parts store.

That would be a silicon sealant.
