arrggghhhhh! i have a project coming up that i am planning on doing myself. i like the price of the h.f., the looks of the directlift and all the dealerships i have been in have the handy lift. the money i will save on doing this myself will more than pay for the h.f. but not the others.

decisions, decisions LOL
my question for right now is... i have a small air compressor that is capable of the psi. but it has a small tank. how much air do these really take to operate?

thanks

I talked to the guys in the service dept of the dealership. They said there were several good brands and the only thing they recommended was staying away for the foot pump models. I was about to pull the trigger on a direct lift when I heard a local dealer was going out of business. I picked up a Handy electric lift from them for $400. This was not a Harley dealer just a used bike dealer. I missed out on the air/hydraulic Handy lifts they sold for $450.

Might check around if there are any dealers going out of business in your area.
