Ahhh, Colorado and your mountains, bla-bla-bla! You should come to Illinois where the roads are straight and true and nary an elevation change! Now that's pure riding fun

Chi-town Spike...The worst 6 mos of my life were spent in IL (thought I wouldn't trade it for the world. Boot Camp and BE&E in Great Mis, er Lakes).

Come on out to CO...we've got some straight roads too!

I will be there for the July 4th weekend. Staying at the La Quinta in west Denver area...Lakewood?? Maybe??? There is a ride/event there every July 4th with my old friends from www.VTXOA.com (my old bike Honda VTX1800 )set up a weekend full of fun and guided rides throughtout the Colorado Rockies. It is very well set up and run, all the bikers stay at the La Quinta, we choose what rides we want to go on and meet back at teh hotel for dinner as BS. They accept all bikes and riders, just a fun weekend of riding. Here is their website, come on out if you want to join the rides, no cost to ride with us;

I know right where you're staying (Applewood / Wheat Ridge area). I used to live very close to that.

PM me before ya leave, perhaps we can hook up for a ride.
