Belt is better IMO, quit and durable. How much will depend on who dose the work. I did a bud of mines Road King, exposed setup cost him $350.00 for parts. On his first ride his shoe string got wrapped around the pulley, it was funny.

kewl thanks fella's ,i was just considering it for a few reasons ,mainly to get rid of the horrible clunk on start and down shifts because of the auto adj on our 09 ultra as well as going a little smaller on engine sproket to get a better kick off in first !?! maybe ill leave it until the chain dies :/
